Terms of Service
Last updated November 4, 2026
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Jake Rottina ("we", "us"), an individual developer in Pennsylvania, which makes Turf Guru (the app at my.turfguru.app, the iPhone and Android apps, and this website). By using Turf Guru you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use Turf Guru for a company, you agree for that company too, and you confirm you're allowed to.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 to create a company account. Team members are invited by their company's owner.
- Keep your sign-in details private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- The company owner controls the company account: who's on the team, what each person can see, and the company's data.
3. Your data
- Your company's data (customers, visits, records, files) belongs to your company. We use it only to provide Turf Guru, as described in the privacy policy.
- You're responsible for having the right to put that information in the app, and for getting any consent you need from your customers, for example before sending them texts or emails.
- You can download your lists at any time, and you can delete your account or your company as described on Delete your account.
4. Your records and the law
Turf Guru helps you keep pesticide application records, time clock entries, invoices and other business records, but you are responsible for making sure they're accurate and complete, and for following the laws and label directions that apply to your business. Turf Guru is a record-keeping tool, not legal, agronomic or tax advice.
5. Payments
- Some features or plans may have a price. We'll always show it before you're charged. Plan payments are processed by Stripe.
- If your company takes card or bank payments from its customers through Turf Guru, those payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's own terms, and your company is the seller.
6. AI features
Some features use AI to draft text, read uploaded lists or suggest settings. AI can make mistakes, so check its work before you rely on it or send it to customers.
7. Fair use
Don't use Turf Guru to break the law, send spam, harass anyone, try to get into another company's data, or disrupt or copy the app. We may suspend accounts that do.
8. Changes and availability
We're always improving Turf Guru, so features may change. We work hard to keep it running, but we can't promise it will always be available or without errors. Keep your own copies of records you're required to keep.
9. Ending
You can stop using Turf Guru and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken, and we'll give reasonable notice before shutting down a paid service, so you can download your data.
10. Disclaimers and limits
Turf Guru is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what your company paid us for Turf Guru in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes, we'll let company owners know in the app or by email before they take effect.
